We kept the new matcha prices stable for a year. Last winter, we met Ukrainian businesses halfway — we lowered prices, removed minimum order requirements, and offered an additional discount. This was our conscious decision to support our partners during a difficult time.

However, the market is changing. Production volumes are decreasing in Japan, raw materials are becoming more expensive, and due to events in the Middle East, shipping costs continue to rise. At the same time, the demand for quality matcha in the world is not decreasing — quite the opposite.

And here's the good news about this year's harvest: it turned out surprisingly successful 🌿 The leaves were harvested at the right moment — after a mild spring with sufficient moisture. Thanks to this, the matcha turned out especially juicy, with natural sweetness and a soft, creamy texture. Bitterness is minimal, umami is top-notch. If you love matcha, this season will definitely delight you.

We remain true to our approach: working only with verified farmers who guarantee consistent quality, harvest after harvest. That's why we cannot sacrifice quality to maintain old prices.

We have high hopes for it and await feedback from partner establishments.

The new harvest enhances the complexity and depth of flavor, making it even more refined. What else will change from August 10

New prices for ceremonial matcha will take effect on August 10, 2026. Until this date, you can purchase your favorite items at current prices — this is a good opportunity to stock up in advance 😊

It is also worth noting: the price increase will affect not only ceremonial matcha. From August 10, prices for matcha in sachets, as well as for some loose-leaf tea items, will change. If you plan to place an order — it's best to do so before the deadline.

Why we speak about this openly

Because you deserve honesty. We don't raise prices for the sake of margin — we maintain the standards you trust. Our farmers do not compromise on quality, and neither do we.

Thank you for choosing authentic Japanese matcha with us 🍵
