Karigane is a Japanese tea, a blend of green kabusecha Saemidori, a shade-grown tea mixed with its stems. During the steaming and rolling process, they acquire a unique, delicate, and pure taste, a soft body, and a bright infusion.

Although it is a green tea, which we are used to invigorating, Karigane, on the contrary, will bring you complete peace, as it contains significantly less caffeine and a high content of vitamin C. After tasting, you will feel the umami aftertaste for a long time, and with it, readiness for concentrated work.

Ideal for consumption at any time of day.

Taste description

The aroma of Karigane tea is soft and creamy, with notes of cream and ripe papaya.
The taste is delicate, well-rounded, with a subtle sweetness and characteristic umami.
The body has a slight oiliness reminiscent of avocado, and the aftertaste is long, soft, and balanced.

How to brew?

Japanese method:
Heat the teapot.
Add 3-4g of tea and pour 120g of water at 60-70°C. Steep for 40 seconds and drain to the last drop.
Repeat the step, but increase the infusion time by 10-15 seconds.

European method:
We recommend a portion of 3-5g of tea. Add 350-400g of water at 80°C to the teapot and let it steep for 90 seconds.
