A note of homely warmth with bergamot

Selected red Ceylon tea meets elite Chinese white tea, and a touch of Ukrainian cornflower, in a sophisticated combination where tartness and softness intertwine harmoniously with lightness and airiness.

The spicy warmth of bergamot fills each cup with an aromatic cocktail, leaving a tart and sweet aftertaste. An ideal balance for those who appreciate depth of taste and sophistication.

Taste description

The first sip reveals the spicy warmth of bergamot – a bright citrus accent that sets the tone for the entire composition. This is followed by the noble astringency of Ceylon tea, creating a strong, rich base.
And then – unexpected softness: delicate apricot notes of white tea envelop the astringency with a velvety texture, adding sweetness and fruity depth.
The aftertaste remains long, balanced – tart yet sweet, with a light trail of bergamot.
This is a tea with character that needs no additions, but opens beautifully on its own or with light desserts.

How to brew?

Heat water to approximately 90-95°C.
Add 2-3 teaspoons (about 2-5 grams) of tea to the teapot.
Pour hot water over the tea and wait 2-3 minutes.
Strain the tea, let it cool slightly, and enjoy.

Alternatively, you can brew it cold: take 10-15g of tea and pour 1L of room temperature water over it. Let it steep for 2-3 hours to get a refreshing drink with notes of citrus and the tartness of Ceylon tea.

More about tea

This blend unites the tea traditions of two great regions. The base is Ceylon tea from the high-altitude plantations of Sri Lanka, where the tropical climate and mountain mists create ideal conditions for growing a tart, rich tea.
White tea comes from Fujian province in China – the home of the most refined varieties. Here, amidst misty hills, only young buds are harvested and minimally processed, preserving their natural softness and delicate flavor.
Bergamot, which gives the blend its characteristic aroma, is traditionally associated with the Italian coast of Calabria, where these citrus fruits grow under the Mediterranean sun.

Why should you try this tea? Georgian tea has Chinese roots. Experimental cultivation of tea in Georgia began more than a century ago. Although the bushes took root, the quality of the tea remained less than impressive for a long time. The great success of Georgian tea is connected with the name of the Chinese master Lau Jen Dao, who decided on the production and showed how high-quality Georgian tea can be.

Lau Jen Dau left Georgia in 1925, but his fame and influence live on. Georgia supplied tea for the whole of the USSR, and although the tea industry declined during the period of change, it is now recovering.

New Georgian tea is grown on renewed plantations and processed in modern factories. The country has an ambitious program to develop the tea business, and now we can enjoy the first results - our new green and black teas from the Etseri garden.

The organic nature of this tea is guaranteed by natural factors, such as the cold winters in Guria, which eliminate the need for pesticides and herbicides to protect the plants. So, our black tea from the Georgian garden of Etseri is not only a tasty and aromatic drink, but also an environmentally friendly choice.
