It's a fact that spring and summer are coming, and that's the season for iced matcha lattes, matcha tonics. We understand, which is why we want to share a matcha-based mocktail recipe at home or in your establishment.


Iced matcha latte recipe


Ingredients:

  • 1-2 g of Japanese matcha tea
  • 1/4 cup of hot water (40g)
  • 1 glass of cold milk
  • 1-2 teaspoons of sugar to taste
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Sieve through a strainer into a bowl
  2. Add hot water and mix until a smooth paste is formed.
  3. Add sugar and sprinkle if necessary
  4. Add cold milk and ice
  5. Mix until smooth and enjoy the drink!


Matcha Mango Latte Matcher

Iced matcha-mango latte

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 g of Japanese matcha tea
  • 1/4 cup of hot water (40g)
  • 1 cup cold plant-based milk (such as coconut, oat, or almond)
  • Mango puree
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Sift the matcha through a strainer into a chavan
  2. Add the hot water and beat the matcha until it forms a smooth paste
  3. Add 2-3 tablespoons of mango puree to the bottom of the glass
  4. Add ice, cold plant-based milk and matcha
  5. Mix until smooth and enjoy the drink!


The updated version can also be decorated with pieces of fruit, berries, nuts or add coconut cream.

Different dairy products and sweeteners can add interesting flavors and textures to a drink.

Matcha tonic with basil


Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Prussian through a match strainer into a chavan
  2. Add hot water and whisk until smooth
  3. Add basil leaves and lemon juice to a glass, you can squeeze everything together a little for the smell
  4. Fill the glass with ice
  5. Add tonic and matcha on top
  6. Add ice and garnish with lemon or lime.

You can experiment with the amount of basil to get the flavor you like best. These drinks can be decorated with herbs and fruits. Enjoy your matcha tonic!
