Roasted Japanese Tea with Adaptogen and Refreshing Effect

Hojicha is a lightly roasted Japanese green tea. This process reduces the caffeine content and gives the tea a distinctive toasted flavor with notes of nuts, caramel, and wood. We import it directly from Kagoshima Prefecture.

To the tea, we add chaga mushroom extract, which has a high concentration of beta-glucans, antioxidants, and polyphenols. Chaga supports the immune system, has anti-inflammatory properties, and reduces oxidative stress.

Cucumber extract completes the composition — it not only adds freshness but also has a light detox effect, helps regulate water balance, and tones without stimulants.

FUNCTIONAL ADDITIVE

Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a parasitic fungus that primarily grows on birch trees in northern forests. It has been used for centuries in Siberia, Scandinavia, Korea, and Japan as a folk remedy for health maintenance, and today it is actively studied by scientists worldwide.

Key beneficial properties:
Immunomodulatory action — chaga stimulates the production of interleukins and natural killer cells, increasing resistance to viruses and bacteria.

Antioxidant activity — according to Frontiers in Pharmacology, chaga contains polyphenols, melanin, betulinic acid, and other compounds that neutralize free radicals, preventing cellular aging.

Anti-inflammatory effect — the mushroom suppresses inflammatory mediators, which is especially beneficial during chronic stress, overwork, or recovery.

Regulation of sugar and cholesterol — some studies show that chaga can lower blood glucose and lipid levels, improving metabolic health (Tandfonline, 2023).

In our drink:
Chaga, combined with hojicha, creates a deep flavor and functional benefit — it is a natural alternative to artificial energy drinks or sugary beverages. It does not stimulate, but rather supports.
